Introduction

- At first Rotation means, any object turning around a center.The center of rotation is the point that a shape rotates around. The distance from the center to any point on the shape stays same. - This applet shows the triangle ABC which is rotates through 90 about the origin to give ABC.

Objectives

Dynamic applet of rotation of triangle;- 1.Rotate a triangle A(-10,10),B(-10,5),C(-5,10) by 90 about the origin.

User Guideline

-Move the slider then the value of angle changes then the image of triangle/ rotated triangle ABC also changes it place. - When the triangle ABC rotated then it takes equal distance from center of rotation O. So, place of Image/object is depend on the value of angle that we rotated and center of rotation.

To construct this applet steps are given below:- 1.Create three points A(-10,10), B(-10,5),C(-5,10) using Input bar. 2.Create triangle ABC using polygon tool. 3.Create a new point O(0,0) using input bar. 4.create a slider for angle as min. -0 , max.-90 and increment 1. 5.Rotate a triangle ABC around point O by angle 6.Create line segment AO and AO , segment BO and BO,segment CO and CO. 7.Create sector OAA,OBB,OCC by using circular tool. Remember that select the point in anticlockwise order. 8.Enhance your construction by object property from there you can change the color of object and you can make attractive applet. 9. At last move slider and check the image of triangle and save it your ggb file.
