Torque: A Diving Board and Weight of Diver

This is a straightforward problem from torque, because (a) it is clear it is a torque problem, (b) it works with net torque=0, (c) the center of rotation is clearly the fulcrum and (d) all the forces are normal.

I liked this problem with torque because you actually get a rational algebraic function from a first-year physics problem. I thought that cool!
