Similarity points

Let a ray with origin on the midline of two circles cut the circles in equal central angles. [i]Proposition:[/i] The ray has only two possible points of origin. Call these two points [i]similarity points[/i]. Now consider the two lines tangent to both circles. Each line intersects the midline at a distinct similarity point.
